on walls

Drawing on walls holds a certain stigma. As a kid you were probably told not to color on the walls–but why did you have to be told? I figure coloring on walls is instinct.

I totally don’t blame moms who don’t want their living rooms marred with rainbows and uninterpretable scribbles, but aren’t we past that now? To some extent?  Maybe?

Now that I own my own house, I figure I can do what I want. And I want to draw on the wall. There’s a blank space stretching from the door to the closet in my office that just stares dully at me.

I’m saying it would look great with this sketched/painted across it:

Do it! I love wall paintings. They’re like mini-murals. I was so sad that my new room would have no walls to scribble/paint/doodle on.
