We have one potholder in my house, and it belongs to one of my roommates. It works, but I figured we should have another, so I’m sewing one. (It won’t be the most attractive [I’m just using old scrap fabric] but it will be more exciting than the pine cone potholder that we currently use.)

The pine cone potholder that lives at my house is a little less amazing than this one, but you get the mass-produced, cheesy idea.

You can see my tutorial on how to sew a potholder here if you’re interested; I’ll post a picture when the one I’m currently working on is done. (They’re not hard to make, but my sewing machine hasn’t been used in years, and it’s objecting. It probably needs to be oiled.)
