on perfection

I like things to be generally clean, ordered, and uncluttered, but not perfect.

The rumpled lines of this recycled glass vase charm me to no end.

These bug-eaten leaves are beautiful despite the holes (and despite the imperfect, blurry picture).

Uneven frosting is welcome in my world. . .

. . . as are dusty nightstands.

Not perfect.  But comfortable.
